About Us

FCCA was founded in 2003 as a non-profit, 501c3 organization. Its purpose is to train, educate and empower the residents of the Faircliff Plaza East Apartments to improve the quality of life for those who live there. The FCCA Board, which is made of the representatives of the owners (Somerset Development and Eagle Point Companies) and a community representative, works closely with the Faircliff Residential Council to identify activities and volunteers, and to coordinate with other neighborhood non-profit service providers such as the Columbia Heights/Shaw Collaborative and Garfield Terrace Family Council.

A Tenant Service Fund established by the owners, contributions from cash flow of the property, and fund raising activities assures on-going financing of support for community programs.
