Current Programs
Computer Use
The computer room is available for individual use on a first-come, first-serve basis during office hours. Staff may answer brief questions on basic computer operation and software use.
After School Program
Homework help, recreational, computer instruction, and social enrichment are available to children at Faircliff, ages 6-12 through a
program implemented by Garfield Terrace Family Council in the community center at nearby Wardman Court Apartments.
Summer Programs
Educational, recreational and artistic activities for children ages 5-12 are available through a grant provided by the Children's Youth Investment
Trust Corporation to Garfield Terrace Family Council.
Birch Creek Camp
Students from the FCCA have been chosen in past years to participate in a community service based summer camp in Spring City, Utah. Children are chosen by school performance, participation
in extra-curricular activities, and their willingness to experience new things. Click here to read about the two enthusiastic FCCA boys who attended Birch Creek Camp last season.
Special Topics
The community center will host events, courses and training for seniors, parents and young adults.
